three workshop formats
Sessions shaped to the question your team is holding.
A two-day sprint, a six-session capability arc, and a half-day concept reading. Pick the one that fits.
Back to homeour approach
A studio rhythm, three formats
Every Kindleo session follows the same studio rhythm — frame the question, generate honest options, narrow on the strongest, draw first-cut concepts on paper, read the day back. The three formats below differ in length, group size, and how much capability stays with the team afterwards. We help you pick during scoping.
Frame
We slow down to write the question honestly before working on it.
Sketch
Concepts go to paper before they go to slides — drawing keeps assumptions visible.
Read back
We close every session with a written record the team can pick up next week.
format one
Two-Day Innovation Sprint
A facilitated two-day workshop, run on-site or in our studio, that walks a cross-functional team through framing an opportunity, generating candidate concepts, narrowing on the strongest two, and drafting first-cut concepts on paper. The output is a written brief of the chosen concepts, a record of the sprint discussion, and a short set of next steps the client team owns. Sized for groups of six to twelve.
What you take away
- Written brief of the chosen concepts
- Record of the sprint discussion
- Photographed sketches and notes
- Short next-steps list owned by your team
How the two days run
- Day one morning — framing and field reading
- Day one afternoon — generating candidate concepts
- Day two morning — narrowing on the strongest two
- Day two afternoon — first-cut concepts on paper, read-back
format two
Capability-Building Series
A series of six half-day sessions delivered across two months that develops the in-house capability of a team to run lighter innovation cycles by themselves. Covers framing, fieldwork shorthand, drawing concepts on paper, and running internal review sessions. Includes a written facilitator handbook the team keeps after the engagement closes.
What the six sessions cover
- Session 1 — framing questions honestly
- Session 2 — fieldwork shorthand and notes
- Session 3 — generating options on paper
- Session 4 — narrowing and reading-back
- Session 5 — running internal review sessions
- Session 6 — closing handbook walkthrough
Sessions sit roughly two weeks apart so your team can practise between them and bring observations back into the next session.
format three
Concept Critique Session
A focused half-day session in which a senior advisor reads a small set of in-progress concepts the client team has been working on and offers a written reading of strengths, weak points, and reasonable next questions to put to each concept. Suited to teams who already have working concepts and want a considered outside reading before further investment.
How a critique runs
- Pre-read of submitted concepts (the week before)
- Half-day reading session with the team
- Written critique delivered within five working days
Best suited for
- Teams with two to five working concepts
- Moments before a stage-gate or budget decision
- Internal teams wanting an outside reading
